"The service was outstanding, and the hotel was very nice. The food in the resteraunt of the hotel was also some of the best we had during our stay."

"I am continually frustrated when trying to get two double beds in a nonsmoking room. I am seemingly told at many hotels, not just this one, that two double beds are not available, but a king is. A king is not what I requested. Only after much haggling, I am told if I would like a smoking room, I can have two double beds. Why will you not have more nonsmoking rooms with two double beds? I like to share my room with my daughter, and after long journeys, we like our own bed. Not everyone wants to sleep together. Also, make staff aware that customer is always right, and a list of every option should be on the tip of their tongue, not something to be dragged out of them. I almost went across the street to Doubletree, which by the way, pulled the same crap last time I was in San Diego. Get this straightened out, please. I do love your beds and feather quilts, and your pillows are excellent. unlike Doubletree. Still, you could improve. Also, the room was not vacuumed well. There were scattered "Gold-fish" crackers all over the place.
